Frank Lampard Chelsea's FC Manager has provided an update on N’Golo Kante's Injury he had suffered from at the opening 10 minutes against Manchester United.
N’Golo Kante's Started the game alongside Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic at 4-3-3 formation
The Blues are forced into an early change as Kante looks to have taken a knock and he was limping on the field. Mount is called into action from the bench.
Frank Lampard side lost 0-2 against Manchester United, it was a new disappointing result at Stamford Bridge this season, Chelsea have lost as many PL home games this season as they did between Feb 2004 and November 2010.
Lampard on Kante's injury: "It is an adductor injury, it doesn't look great." and Kante will be sent for a scan.
N’Golo Kante had suffered from a lot of injuries this season that made him missed a lot of matches and it appears to be continuing with the latest setback expected to keep him out of action for a while.
Chelsea will face Tottenham Hotspur this weekend on next Saturday. it will be a big clash in the top 4 race which Chelsea will drop out CL Spots for the first time this if they lose this game.
After that, Chelsea will host Bayern Munich at Stamford Bridge for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 clash and it would take a miraculous recovery for N’Golo Kante to make that game on 25 February.
