[Video] One of The Greatest RLC Performance Against Bournemouth, Masterclass

Loftus-Cheek as an "intriguing" player of "long-striding grace" saying that with his "shielding, covering, deep-playmaking presence with a calmness in possession and a naturally telescopic reach"

The 23 years Old Midfielder scored 10 Goals in 40 Appearances Last Season , He Was one of The Greatest Chelsea Offensive Weapons Beside Eden Hazard Last Season.

The return of Ruben will be like a new signing & he can hopefully give the necessary boost to the fans and the team that we were all desperately looking for before the start of the winter window. Can't wait to see this beast on the pitch

Mason Mount unsurprised by Abraham success as Chelsea star backs team-mate's mentality

Mount unsurprised by Abraham success as Chelsea star backs team-mate's mentality

Given Tammy Abraham’s explosive start to the season in front of goal, one would be tempted to think he’s been banging them in for a couple of seasons in the premier league.

And more would be forgiven for assuming he’s a veteran rather than a 22 year old academy product. Such is the high level of expectations for Abraham. Sure, he was immense for Aston Villa in the championship but the premier league is arguably one of the toughest leagues and he has adapted seamlessly.

However, this comes as no surprise to his fellow academy product, Mason Mount,

Who insists he knows the quality and tenacity of Abraham from years playing together. "I am not very impressed at all. I know exactly what he is like," he told reporters when asked about Abraham's returns in front of goal. "I have grown up knowing what kind of player he is and what he can achieve.

"This is not a big surprise to me what he is doing this season. I know what he can do so for him to be scoring loads of goals and playing well that's the best thing to see for us players, coaching staff and fans to see him doing so well.
It is brilliant to see. “I would personally say it is more mental than physical. There is obviously a big focus on performing in every game. The fans want you to do well so there is a lot of pressure.

"He has dealt with that brilliantly. As I said before, it is not a big surprise to me."

That’s the level of trust his teammates have in him. He’s shown that he’s eager to learn and improve. Under Lampard’s guidance and trust, we can only hope he becomes one of our greatest in the likeness of Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Osgood.

He added on Abraham's recent struggles, with the 22-year-old having scored just two league goals since December 4: "I would personally say it is more mental than physical. There is obviously a big focus on performing in every game. The fans want you to do well so there is a lot of pressure.

"He has dealt with that brilliantly. As I said before, it is not a big surprise to me."

Mason Mount Spoke about Battle With Another Midfielders to pick up for England National Team at Euro 2020  this summer

"Yes, I know Madders," he said. "I know Madders very well. He is a very good player. We have played against each other a couple of time. It is obviously brilliant to play against him and come up against him in that battle.

"I enjoyed it. We drew both games. So no bragging rights between us two. There are so many English midfielders that are young and doing well in the Premier League. It is brilliant for the country.

"You see a lot of people comparing us against each other where I think a lot of us can play together and learn off each other and work off each other.

"Me and Jack Grealish came in from the Championship last season and playing against each other. We learned from the Championship and now coming into the Premier League is brilliant. It is exciting times."

(Video): Frank Lampard crashes Brendan Rodgers press conference

Rudiger's 1st goal of the season on his 100th appearance for the club.

Lampard on dropping Kepa: "With GKs it is a decision you don’t take lightly and you've to look at what it means. They're very close, they work together each day but it's one I felt I would make for this game and I trust in Willy, he trains brilliantly and is a great professional"

Frank Lampard says it was a fair point taken. We were the better side first half but in the second half Leicester had chances and it evened the game out.

Lampard adds that we missed Rudiger's threat from set-pieces when he was out injured earlier in the season.

Lampard says in his opinion Caballero was not at fault for Leicester's second goal. That was more to do with the lack of marking of Chilwell.

Lamaprd says the coming winter break will be beneficial all-round: "I think it's good for the Premier League." Says it gives players time off, and time with their families.

Lampard says Girioud being left at home was not about his frame of mind.

The Blues manager realised he hadn’t said goodbye to Rodgers, so he came into the press room where Rodgers was giving his post-match comments to bid him a farewell because he had to leave right away!
Classy stuff from the Chelsea manager who said “I didn’t want to be rude.”

Chelsea transfer news live: Dries Mertens updates, Ampadu interest ,Olivier Giroud latest.

Lazio have allegedly reached an agreement with Olivier Giroud and are only awaiting a decision from Chelsea. The negotiation between Chelsea and Lazio continues. Only thing missing is Chelsea’s OK. Lazio pushes to unlock the deal, regardless of Chelsea's incoming transfers.

Bristol City eye ambitious loan move for Chelsea’s Ethan Ampadu who is currently on loan at RB Leipzig.  Chelsea are tempted to terminate Ethan Ampadu’s loan spell at RB Leipzig and agree a fresh deal with Bristol City.

"He was okay," Rodgers told reporters when asked about Vardy. "We found no side effects after the game. He's trained today and was good." On whether he could start (vs Chelsea): "Potentially."

Chelsea's first bid of €8m for Dries Mertens has been rejected by Napoli.
Chelsea have also rejected Napoli's counter offer of buying the player and loaning him back until the summer.

Jorgi likes the idea if linking up with his former team mate again!

Recently Jorginho Liked Instagram Post with His former Team Mate Dries Mertens .
Jorghinho and Mertens  Played Together in Napoli for Four and Half Years .

Chelsea Want to sign a forward in the January window  before the 11pm Friday night deadline, and Mertens has six months remaining on Napoli contract.
Napoli do not want to sell Mertens so late in this window and would demand a fee of at least £7million. One option Chelsea could try is to send one of Olivier Giroud, Michy Batshuayi or Pedro Rodriguez, either permanently or on loan, in exchange for Mertens.

The 32 year old Striker has 39 goals and assists (Serie A + CL) in 3,678 minutes this season and last. Meaning he averages a goal contribution every 94 minutes.

Belgian international Mertens has scored 118 goals for Napoli over seven seasons at the club,
Mertens is only four goals short of becoming Napoli’s all-time leading scorer.

Lampard On Mateo Kovacic " he’s very intelligent, he listens when you speak to him, and I think he can get better at all parts of it."

Lampard on Kovacic: ‘We changed the midfield around him and rotated it in terms of how we’re playing – I never want it to be absolutely structured – and there’s games he’s played well as part of a two and he’s almost doing a bit of both roles.’

Lampard: ‘I think he can do it very well. For the development of him, and we’ve got a really good relationship, he loves to talk about his game and he’s very intelligent, he listens when you speak to him, and I think he can get better at all parts of it.’

Lampard: ‘He’s very talented and I love working with him and I want to help him improve because he’s important to us. I was part of the conversation [when it came to making his loan switch from Real Madrid permanent] and he was one we could bring in because of the situation.’

Lampard: ‘I watched him last year and liked him from afar. It wasn’t the easiest year for him – sometimes he started, sometimes he didn’t –‘

Lampard: ‘but I just saw an actual talent in the way he can take people out of the game in midfield and he travels really quickly with the ball and can play really nice combinations.’

Lampard: ‘But there are other parts of his game that we want to improve. We want to see him score more goals and when he’s in deep defensive areas, of course he has to be very aware to pick up runners and do that job as well.’
